Henri Kalama Akulez
Director, Academies des Beaux Arts, Kinshasa (DRC) - ArtistHenri Kalama Akulez is a Congolese painter, defender of the thesis of universalism in art and an Advisor to Pavillon 54. Kalama studied art at the Institute of Fine Arts in Lubumbashi and completed his graduate studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa in 1999. In 2001, he completed a degree in China with a scholarship of the Chinese Academy of Art. In 2003 he returned teaching in Kinshasa and completing a Master’s degree in 2007. Today he teaches in the painting department at the Academy of Fine Arts in Kinshasa and participates in exhibitions, such as Yambi in Brussels, or others in Germany, Poland, Austria and China. -
Scott Mackin
Managing Partner, Denham Capital Management LPScott Mackin is a Managing Partner of Denham Capital and heads the firm’s International Power team. He is serves on the Board of Advisors of Pavillon 54. Scott brings over 25 years of energy experience to Denham and is a member of the Investment Committee and Valuation Committee. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of Ceiba Energy, Endeavor Energy, Nexif Energy and Rio Energy and is a member of the Advisory Committee of Themis Energy. Scott is a frequent guest speaker at the London Business School and the inaugural Chairman of the Emerging Markets Private Equity Association (EMPEA) Energy and Infrastructure Council. He is also a Board member of Positive Planet UK and a Business Mentor for under-employed young people for The Prince’s Trust. -
Edwin Wulfshon
Trustee, Contemporary Art Society, UKEdwin Wulfsohn worked at Chase Manhattan Bank in New York, London and Johannesburg and is former chair of Stenham Ltd and Trans Zambezi Ltd. Edwin is a Trustee for the Caine Prize (a literary prize for African writers), Chelsea & Westminster Health Charity and is a director of The Chairman’s Forum. Edwin is part of the Board of Advisor of Pavillon 54. He is also a Trustee of the Contemporary Art Society UK and was formerly Director of The Chairmen’s Forum. Edwin formerly served on the Foundation for Entrepreneurial Management at London Business School, was a Governor of the City of London School and a member of the Audit and Compliance Committee of Nedbank International. Edwin holds a BA degree from Cape Town University and an MBA from Columbia University. Edwin is a keen collector of contemporary art.
