Pavillon 54 - Commission, Fees and VAT
Pavillon 54 connects artists with collectors across the world. For supporting sales between the two, we charge a commission fee.

Pavillon 54 charges a commission on the agreed List Price on each sale.
Before the commission, there is a payment charge of 3-3.5% to cover bank card processing fees.
For sellers/artists in the EU, the commission and payment charge are subject to UK VAT (20%). Sellers/artists outside of the EU and EU VAT registered sellers/artists outside the UK who have supplied Pavillon 54 with a valid EU VAT number will not typically be charged VAT.
Here is a pricing example for an artwork for which the list price agreed between Pavillon 54 and the artists is £1,000 and the commission is 40%:
Discounts
Discounts can be an important selling tool for artists and galleries alike, with a discount between 10 and 20% being a standard range. For any discounts above 15%, we will always discuss with you first.

When will I get paid?
Our payment process starts once you’ve confirmed shipment of your artwork and you’ve provided us with a tracking number.
Your payment will come through within 45 days after you shipped the work. This is because buyers of Pavillon 54 will have a period of 14 days to decide to keep any artwork or return it after its delivery. If they decide to keep it, your payment will be processed within 2 weeks of the end the of return period.
You’ll be emailed a payment statement beforehand which will outline all the details.

Payments under £50/€50/$50
For payments to artists which are under £50/€50/$50 we issue payment every six months. Processing payments under this amount costs us both money and gives us time to increase the payment amount if another sale is made in the meantime.
